Nomadic holidays on the island of Lanzarote
Lanzarote is one of the Canary Islands, best known for its year-round warm climate, spectacular beaches, and volcanic landscapes, but how can we see all the hidden gems of this beautiful island without missing a thing?.
Below is a guide to help you visit the island and not miss a thing.
Day 1: Timanfaya, Montaña Bermeja Beach and Danube Salt Flats
As it's the first day, we assume you're coming with lots of enthusiasm and energy to explore the island, so we'll travel to Timanfaya National Park.
This park is a protected natural area, located in the municipalities of Yaiza and Tinajo. The views from the summit will not leave you indifferent, but remember to get your tickets in advance to enjoy these incredible vistas.
After this visit, we will head towards Playa de Montaña Bermeja, where we will also enjoy beautiful landscapes and crystal clear waters, where we can take a dip after the climb to Timanfaya.
To end the day, we'll travel to Salinas del Janubio, in the southwest of Lanzarote. These salt flats are the largest on the entire island and are still active today thanks to EU support, which declared them a protected natural area.

Day 2: Guinate, Cueva de los Verdes, Jameos del Agua, and Punta Mujeres
On day two, we started in Guinate, a village in the municipality of Haría with a large tropical park that boasts numerous species of plants and animals, including its popular penguins.
Next, we'll continue north to the impressive Cueva de los Verdes (Green Caves). This volcanic structure is part of the volcanic tube formed by the eruption of the Corona volcano.
Having fallen in love with the cave, we'll move on to Jameos del Agua, another paradisiacal spot that, like the previous one, is the result of a volcanic eruption. This one boasts unique caverns where you can see its auditorium, dine in its restaurant, and finish by taking a dip in its saltwater lake.
And we finished the day by visiting Punta Mujeres, a town also in the municipality of Haría with more than two kilometers of natural pools, two of them well protected from the open sea.
Day 3: Playa Blanca, Papagayo and the César Manrique Foundation
And we reach the end of our itinerary, first with Playa Blanca, a very touristy town, where its landscapes of blue waters will leave you wanting to return.
Secondly, we will visit the Papagayo beaches, which are a group of beaches located around Punta Papagayo, a small cape in the south of Lanzarote.
And finally, we will travel to the César Manrique Foundation, a private cultural institution whose purpose is the conservation of the island's beautiful landscapes, as well as the promotion of art and cultural reflection.

And that's all, folks! Traveling is one of life's greatest pleasures, and what greater pleasure is there than traveling with all the comforts of home? From Van Vaz, We not only offer that comfort, but also the opportunity to travel with it to any place you want.
